Alsion Montessori, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit school, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, one of the three commissions that comprise the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). WASC is an accrediting body serving schools located in California, Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and East Asia.1 It is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.2
Ohlone College, where Alsion Early College High School students take most of their classes, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, a commission belonging to WASC.2
