Joey Morrison 400Head of School

Born and raised in California, Joey Morrison studied at Notre Dame de Namur University where he received Bachelor of Arts degrees in literature and theatre arts. Before joining Alsion, Joey was a private school administrator at a campus with nearly 500 students spanning preschool through grade 8. He also has experience teaching literature in middle school and teaching students and adults with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome.

Besides many years managing and running a school, Joey also brings an immense amount of enthusiasm and energy to Alsion. During the workday he does not confine himself to an office; he is often found working in the garden, tending the chickens, or collaborating with teachers and students on the grounds of the school. He is happy to be part of the community at Alsion.

Mr. Joey’s interests outside school include reading, biking, running, gardening, and scuba diving.
