Science and PE Teacher
Alex Thach received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of California, Santa Cruz. After earning his degree, he worked as a substitute teacher for several high schools in the Bay Area. Through that experience, he found that his true calling was being in front of the classroom, where he would be able to demonstrate his passion for the sciences. All sciences teach students how to manage their time, work together communally to reach new heights, and develop their critical thinking for their future. His mission is to demystify science for students and give them the logical foundation they need to succeed in any career they choose. He feels right at home at Alsion, and he plans to utilize the strength of our small, tight-knit community to facilitate an ideal learning environment. When he's not teaching, he usually enjoys visiting Seattle, playing chess, going out jogging, and doing logic puzzles.
